INDUSTRIAL SENSORS
For non-contact identification of object colour and the detection of registration marks.
Color sensors operate by sensing the reflected light of internal RGB LED (red, green, blue) illuminators and comparing the reflected light with the illumination light to derive a high quality, high confidence signal corresponding to the actual color of the object being detected.
Repeatability and/or deviation from a specific value are key elements to this sensors use in process control. Variations of this sensor use a Halogen or tungsten light source or external illumination. Applications include fruit sorting based on color, textile, or thread identification, color verification of self-illuminating objects, etc.
Color sensor identification using RGB composition. Features a mixed teaching method that enables accurate differentiation between similar color shades with upper and lower limits, and detection of unevenly colored workpieces.
Passive, fiber-type color sensor that identifies RGB composition values of color proportions by analyzing light into the three primary colors: red, green, and blue. Useful for checking LED colors.
Passive, fiber-type color sensor that identifies the color proportions and brightness of LEDs by analyzing light into the three primary colors: red, green, and blue. Equipped with two separate outputs for RGB composition and brightness values.
Lighting inspection application for confirmation purposes. Suitable for various light sources and enables stable detection of illumination, including LED, near-infrared, and arc/plasma light. Easily integrates into existing systems.
The mark sensor was developed to detect a specific mark, change of color, or other process indication mark or bar.
These units are used in the detection of labels on backgrounds, printing systems, etc where color and or height can influence the process operation. The optical axis match is easy and the detection accuracy is greater than the diffuse reflection type. These units are available in Red, Green, and Blue illumination and can be very color specific, or more general purpose as needed. These sensors are primarily used in the packaging, labelling, printing and textile industries, but can be used anywhere specific mark detection is required.
LED-type mark sensor with IP67 rating. Suitable for detecting register marks to position wrapping and cutting operations. An ultraviolet luminescence mark sensor is also available, ideal for detecting hidden or fluorescent marks.
