We've been breaking boundaries in dual-zone technology since launching the MS-12FE, a first-of-its-kind 180-degree outdoor PIR designed to mitigate nuisance alarms from pets and small animals by combining horizontal and downward zones that require simultaneous activation for alarm.

Capable of protecting up to 226m2 from a mounting height of 1m, MS-12FE hit the ground running by providing highly reliable and versatile protection of property before an intruder reaches your door.

So robust it proved to be, the humble MS-12FE inspired many to try and capture its magic for themselves. The resulting arms race in this sector has seen the MS-12 series expand into a whole family of dual-zone sensors; with the battery operated and wireless-ready TX-114 series, the low-cost OMS-12FE, and most recently the anti-masking and dual-technology equipped MX-12 series all featuring this same detection principle.
